Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Deploys Free Trade Zone Plans For Olokola Cluster

The Ondo State Government has advanced its industrialization agenda following strategic briefings led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa with the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, regarding the establishment of a large-scale industrial and free trade zone at Olokola. The public-private partnership project is engineered to position the state as a leading industrial hub.

The state executive pledged maximum support to simplify land and permitting channels for the Olokola layout, working alongside investors and host communities to ensure implementation sustainability. In a parallel administrative development, the governor met with Sahara Energy executives to structure capital placements across the subnational oil and gas sector.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also swore in Chief Segun Odusanya as the seventeenth substantive Head of Service of Ondo State. The administration charged the new administrative chief to drive institutional discipline across civil service ministries, ensuring that public workforce performance metrics align with the technical requirements of incoming investments.
