๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿš€ Governor Radda Unveils KASEDA Digital Market And Enacts 50,000 Naira Vendor Grants

KATSINA, Nigeria, June 29, 2026 - The Katsina State Government has unbundled a landmark trade digitization and micro-capitalization master plan following the formal launch of the KASEDA Digital Market portal by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda. Unveiled by State Secretary Barr. Garba Faskari during international MSME Day celebrations, the high-capacity web marketplace establishes a permanent e-commerce pipeline for localized commercial operators.

The subnational technology intervention, managed by the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency, provides artisanal designers, smallholder farmers, and light manufacturers across all thirty-four local government areas with enhanced brand visibility and direct payment channels. To catalyze immediate user onboarding, KASEDA Director-General Dr. Babangida Kabir Ruma announced a flat fifty thousand naira growth grant for every registered exhibition vendor.

The administration maintained that equipping micro-enterprises with resilient digital marketing tools is an absolute prerequisite for accelerating non-oil economic diversification indices. Through strategic funding partnerships with the Bank of Industry and Sterling Bank, the agency has integrated the platform with flexible credit matching systems, enabling verified merchants to scale up distribution operations state-wide.
