The Katsina State Government has strengthened its inclusive governance models following a high-level strategic security consultation meeting convened by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda with the state chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee. Held at the Governor's Office, the multi-party briefing brought together leaders from all registered political organizations to forge a unified front against banditry.
The executive consultation provided an operational update on active joint military-civil maneuvers, with a specific focus on stabilizing the vulnerable Matazu–Musawa transit axis. Led by Accord Party Chairman and IPAC head Alhaji Salimu Lawal Boyi, the political coalition backed the state's stringent public safety measures, including mandatory vehicle registrations to optimize tactical tracking capabilities.
Governor Radda emphasized that neutralizing asymmetrical internal security threats is a collective subnational responsibility that transcends partisan lines. To institutionalize the outcomes of the summit, the administration approved the framework to establish a specialized Political Party Security Committee while mandating ministries to expand youth empowerment projects to target crime roots.
