๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿ“ˆ National Association Of Resident Doctors Commends Governor Adeleke For Visionary Healthcare Welfare

OSOGBO, Nigeria, June 30, 2026 - The Osun State Government has received top-tier institutional validation for its health capitalization roadmaps following a formal commendation issued by the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) to Governor Ademola Adeleke. The apex clinical union applauded the administration for successfully implementing the Specialist Allowance (SA), the 2026 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF), and annual leave bonuses.

Governor Adeleke welcomed the medical body's acknowledgment, stating that prioritizing the welfare of frontline physicians is an absolute prerequisite for sustaining an effective public health delivery system. This continuous investment in human capital has already yielded massive dividends, with Osun State clinching the national Primary Health Care challenge trophy for both 2024 and 2025 by emerging number one in the South-West.

The administration highlighted recent federal health data indices ranking Osun fifth nationally in public hospital service efficiency and maternal delivery records. Promising to scale up diagnostic upgrades across the secondary and tertiary health sectors during his second term, the governor, via spokesperson Mallam Olawale Rasheed, dedicated the national efficiency honors to the tireless hard work of the state's clinical workforce state-wide.
