Federal And Plateau Governments Deploy Emergency Security Fortifications At NIPSS Kuru

The Federal Government of Nigeria, in close coordination with the Plateau State Executive, has deployed extensive defensive fortifications around the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru. Conveying executive mandates from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima led a high-level command team to the apex policy complex following a repelled insurgent attack at the main gates.

The specialized security intervention honors three gallant defense personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice while resisting the assault. Vice President Shettima directed the immediate restructuring of the campus defensive lines, giving security chiefs a strict seventy-two-hour deadline to submit an integrated surveillance blueprint to establish fortified physical buffer zones and automated boundary controls.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang confirmed that Plateau State has deployed immediate logistics support, including enhanced street lighting networks and synchronized military patrols across the Kuru-Vom corridor. NIPSS Director-General Professor Ayo Omotayo welcomed the swift federal response, affirming that the elite academy will sustain its strategic leadership training mandate without disruption.
