Governor Mutfwang Moves To Complete Mangu Permanent NYSC Orientation Camp Facility

The Plateau State Government has reinforced its human capital placement frameworks following an official courtesy session hosted by Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang with the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye, in Jos. The high-level meeting focused on expanding protection parameters and optimizing local technical service options for graduate cohorts.

The administration detailed the historic contributions of state-deployed professionals, including doctors and engineers, in bridging critical manpower shortages across remote local government sectors. Drawing from direct operational baselines, Governor Mutfwang noted that utilizing youth medical corps personnel across 84 primary healthcare centers has significantly upgraded clinical access for rural populations.

To optimize training operations state-wide, the governor announced a renewed executive commitment to finalize the construction of the permanent orientation camp facility situated in Mangu Local Government Area. The Ministry of Youth Development has been instructed to harmonize facility assessments with security commands, guaranteeing a safe, enabling environment for upcoming service streams.
