Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga Launches Presidential Media Tour Across South-East Zone

The Presidential Communications Team has commenced an intensive field verification tour across the South-East geopolitical zone to review the execution of federal legacy projects. Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, led the high-powered media delegation, which includes over fifty senior editors and journalists. The verification exercise took off in Ebonyi State, where the team was received by subnational administrators.

The five-day media engagement, organized in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, is designed to showcase completed and ongoing infrastructure developments executed under the Renewed Hope Agenda. Onanuga explained that the federal administration has delivered impactful public works across the region, attributing public criticisms to a lack of structured awareness regarding these localized capital investments.

The delegation confirmed that subsequent inspection phases will move systematically through Enugu, Anambra, Abia, and Imo states to catalog infrastructure progress. The Presidency noted that increased statutory allocations to subnational units have enabled states to execute complementary local projects, reinforcing the administration’s policy of cooperative governance to upgrade the standard of living nationwide.
