Nasarawa State Government Completes Ntsakpe-Mada Hills Feeder Road to Boost Rural Agricultural Logistics

The Nasarawa State Government, under Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, has completed the construction of the Ntsakpe–Mada Hills Road. Local farming communities confirmed that the newly completed feeder corridor has improved farm-to-market produce transit, reduced crop transport times, and attracted new commercial agricultural land investments to the area.

Unpaved, degraded rural feeder roads cause high post-harvest losses, increase farm transport costs, and isolate rural agrarian communities from urban markets. Constructing durable rural feeder roads connects agricultural zones to trade hubs, reduces food wastage, and encourages private investment in commercial farming.

This rural road completion underscores a focused approach to spatial integration, rural infrastructure planning, and agricultural logistics. Prioritizing feeder roads in agrarian belts directly supports non-oil revenue growth and rural development goals.
