Niger State Governor Commission New Digital Literacy Infrastructure in Paikoro

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has officially commissioned a newly built Digital Learning and ICT Centre at Martin Sanda Girls Science College in Paiko, Paikoro Local Government Area. Facilitated through a corporate social responsibility partnership with Justice Zaynab Bashir of the National Industrial Court, the executive educational project was launched alongside the total renovation of existing classrooms and the direct deployment of new instructional science modules.

The structural absence of modern computing laboratories and secure learning environments in rural public schools frequently limits girl-child education and lowers technological literacy. To complement the new digital facility and ensure school safety, the governor issued immediate directives for the comprehensive fencing of the campus and approved the future construction of a modern science laboratory and sports complex to boost regional science education.

This educational launch highlights a strategic policy of combining private philanthropy with state capital budgets to upgrade grassroots school infrastructure. By linking specialized corporate social responsibility inputs with the state's ongoing Ward Development Project framework, the government increases public investment efficiency, expands rural institutional capacity, and strengthens its human capital development goals.
