Despite heavy rainfall challenges, contractors-including CCECC, CBC Global, and Mutual Commitment Company-are deploying advanced continuous reinforced concrete pavement technology along critical transport arteries like the Benin–Sapele–Warri Road. By pairing road expansions with expansive gully reclamation works, such as the Obaseki Street erosion control project, the Ministry permanently mitigates environmental degradation while securing surrounding residential properties.
This open engineering audit underscores the state executive’s commitment to evidence-based governance and institutional accountability under Governor Monday Okpebholo. By subjecting sub-national capital investments to independent press verification, the Ministry of Works strengthens public trust and improves contractor performance tracking.
