The Oyo State Government unveiled two DA42MN-G surveillance aircraft procured by the administration to strengthen aerial surveillance and reconnaissance operations across the state. The Oyo State Government announced that reconstruction work is continuing on the 6.8-kilometre Niko Engineering Off Wire and Cable-Ita Faaji-Opopin Road, including spur connections to All Saints College Road and Akinyo Close in Ibadan. The project is being implemented by the Ido Local Government Council as part of ongoing road infrastructure improvements within the state.
The reconstruction is intended to improve road connectivity and enhance transport infrastructure serving communities along the project corridor.
Road infrastructure development remains a core component of executive-government efforts to improve mobility, accessibility and local economic activity.
