Governor Hyacinth Alia reaffirmed his administration's commitment to strengthening security and promoting sustainable community development through two major engagements. During the funeral of former Gboko Local Government Chairman Joseph Orngu Dwem, the Governor urged citizens to remain united against insecurity and announced plans to improve road and educational infrastructure within the community. At a separate town hall meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Governor Alia renewed his advocacy for state policing, pledged continued logistical support for security agencies, endorsed intensified security operations, encouraged intelligence sharing and community participation, and reaffirmed government support for the safe return of internally displaced persons to their farming communities.
