Imo State Partners NASENI To Establish Technology Innovation And Skills Acquisition Centre For Youths
The Imo State Government entered into a strategic partnership with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) to establish a Technology Innovation and Skills Acquisition Centre within the state. Governor Hope Uzodimma announced the initiative during an official engagement with NASENI management, describing the project as part of the administration's commitment to expanding technical education, innovation, and industrial capacity. The proposed centre will provide practical training in engineering, technology, manufacturing, and digital innovation while supporting research, entrepreneurship, and workforce development. The collaboration also seeks to equip young people with industry-relevant technical competencies that improve employability, encourage enterprise creation, and strengthen Imo State's capacity for technology-driven economic development.
