Delta Expands Infrastructure Intervention and Human Capital Investment Through Executive Approvals | Daily Policy Tracker
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori approved the immediate rehabilitation of the failed Mosogar–Oghara section of the Warri-Benin Highway to improve road safety, restore traffic flow, and reduce transportation challenges affecting commuters and commercial activities. Although the highway falls under Federal Government jurisdiction, the state authorised emergency intervention due to the deteriorating condition of the road. Separately, the Governor approved financial assistance for 533 Delta State indigenes who completed the 2025 Nigerian Law School programme, with the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board commencing documentation for fund disbursement. Both approvals reinforce the administration's commitment to infrastructure improvement and investment in professional human capital development.
