Enugu State Launches Free Agricultural Input Distribution For Sixty-Three Thousand Verified Farmers Statewide

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah officially flagged off the statewide distribution of free agricultural inputs to 63,000 verified farmers across the state's seventeen local government areas. The intervention provides high-yield seeds, fertilizers, and modern agrochemicals directly to registered farming households as part of the administration's agricultural transformation agenda. Direct distribution to verified beneficiaries is designed to ensure transparency and minimize diversion of agricultural resources. By strengthening access to quality farm inputs before the planting season, the initiative supports increased agricultural productivity and reinforces the state's commitment to expanding food production and rural economic development.
