Governor Malam Umar Namadi received a delegation from the Secretariat of the National Economic Council (NEC) during a courtesy visit to Government House, Dutse, as part of a nationwide assessment of the implementation of National Economic Council resolutions by state governments. The engagement forms part of an intergovernmental review process designed to evaluate policy implementation and document development initiatives being undertaken across the federation.
According to the leader of the delegation, Daniel Ikara, the assessment team was deployed on the directive of the National Economic Council to examine how resolutions adopted by the Council have been implemented at the state level.
