Following the inspection, Governor Uzodimma stated that the operational success of the Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone had further strengthened his administration's determination to replicate similar agro-industrial development models across Imo State. He observed that the state possesses abundant agricultural resources and extensive fertile arable land capable of supporting large-scale agro-processing activities. According to the Governor, planned agro-processing zones located in Okigwe, Ohaji/Egbema, Ngor Okpala and other strategic locations are expected to serve as major centres for agricultural value addition, increased productivity, employment generation and expanded access to both domestic and international markets.

Governor Uzodimma further reaffirmed his administration's commitment to leveraging strategic partnerships, innovative industrial models and collaborative implementation frameworks to transform Imo State into a leading agricultural and industrial hub within Nigeria. The executive initiative reflects the state's continued participation in the national Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones programme while reinforcing government's broader objective of strengthening agricultural industrialisation through coordinated infrastructure development, value-chain expansion and private-sector investment.

Governor Uzodimma's reaffirmation of Imo State's commitment to agro-industrial development highlights the growing recognition among Nigerian subnational governments that agricultural transformation depends not merely on increasing primary production but on expanding value addition through industrial processing.
