Aiyedatiwa gave the assurances on September 24, 2026, when the newly elected executive members of the Nigeria Medical Association, Ondo State chapter, paid him a courtesy visit in Akure.

The governor said health and education remained among his administration's priorities and stated that government was equipping hospitals and had awarded contracts for 500-bed projects across the state, with contractors already on site.

He also said his administration had increased allowances intended to attract doctors serving as corps members and was constructing improved accommodation at the corps members' camp.

On the Hospitals Management Board, Aiyedatiwa said its composition would be reviewed and formally inaugurated, noting that the previous chairman had left after becoming Secretary to the State Government while another member resigned to contest an election.

The NMA chairman, Roland Arohunmolase, commended the administration's health-sector initiatives, including equipment procurement and the reported implementation of a new salary structure, while the governor reiterated his commitment to further investment within available resources.
