The Zamfara Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA) announced that out of 10,876 initial submissions, 6,412 candidates cleared administrative screening and will sit for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Concurrently, the Zamfara State Environmental Protection and Enforcement Agency (ZEPEA) flagged off a comprehensive statewide fumigation campaign to curb mosquito populations and combat malaria transmission, starting across metropolitan wards in Gusau.

ZEPEA Executive Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Zangina Abdullahi noted that monitoring teams have been deployed to supervise vector control operations across residential zones, schools, and public spaces.

In healthcare administration, the Executive Secretary of the Zamfara State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (ZAMCHEMA), Hajiya Zainab Muhammad Hassan, hosted UNICEF representatives to formulate strategies for expanding affordable health insurance coverage to vulnerable populations.

State officials emphasized that combining rigorous educator recruitment, vector control sanitation, and UNICEF health partnerships under Governor Dauda Lawal's administration aims to improve socioeconomic well-being across Zamfara State.
