The Lagos State Examinations Board has commenced the issuance and collection of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) e-certificates for 2018, 2022, and 2023, alongside 2024 CAS e-attestations.
The board announced that authorized school representatives can collect the certification documents starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Lagos State Examinations Board headquarters.
To maintain credibility and prevent unauthorized access, the board stipulated that only registered school owners are permitted to collect certificates upon presenting original payment receipts and official results.
Collection by proxy has been strictly prohibited to safeguard the integrity of the state's examination and credential verification architecture.
Eligible schools have been urged to comply fully with the administrative requirements and complete collection formalities in a timely manner.
The initiative is part of the state government's broader commitment to efficient service delivery and institutional transparency across educational administration.
