The Gombe State Government’s flagship 'Network 11-100' initiative—which targets constructing 100 kilometers of paved roads in each of the state’s 11 Local Government Areas—continues to transform rural agricultural logistics. Dukku North LCDA Chairman Hon. Damina Sardauna Jamari reported that expanded asphalt corridors across Gombe North, including the Bambam–Tula–Yiri, Dukku–Kalam–Dokoro, and Malala–Zange routes, have drastically reduced crop haulage costs and enabled year-round mechanized farming.

In regional affairs, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, acting in his capacity as Chairman of the Northern Nigeria Governors' Forum, expressed official state condolences following the passing of former Gongola State Governor Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. Governor Yahaya paid tribute to the late elder statesman’s six decades of national economic leadership, political diplomacy, and contributions to regional integration.

Fostering grassroots security and social cohesion, forty-five Christian and Muslim women leaders in Kasuwan Magani completed a multi-day conflict mediation training course. Organized by Interfaith Women Kasuwan Magani in technical partnership with the Interfaith Mediation Centre, the exercise concluded with the formal launching of the Kasuwan Magani Women Peace Ambassadors Network to resolve local disputes and detect early security threats.

In Kwami Local Government Area, state officials joined military commanders to commission a fully furnished, ten-bedroom NYSC corps members' lodge alongside an upgraded primary healthcare dispensary at Malam Sidi. Executed under the Nigerian Navy’s Civil-Military Quick Intervention Projects, the infrastructure gifts demonstrate effective inter-agency cooperation in upgrading community facilities.

The Gombe State Government reaffirmed that combining strategic rural road networks with community-led peacebuilding frameworks and targeted social infrastructure projects remains central to sustaining agrarian enterprise, food security, and rural stability across the state.
